The Future of Care

At the end of 2018, Caterplus, our specialist care catering arm, carried out some research to understand how people want to live in later life. This looks at how the culinary, environmental, health and cultural offerings within care will change over the next twenty years.

Lifetime of Enrichment

Our Lifetime of Enrichment campaign aims to deliver a ‘lifetime’ of social value across economic, environmental, and social factors at every life stage.

Alongside centrally driven activities like charity partnerships and sourcing from socially conscious suppliers, we’ve asked our 10,000 colleagues to support the campaign, taking 2 paid volunteering days every year, with activities logged centrally to track contributions, measure impact and recognise individuals – fostering a culture of giving across the business. The campaign’s target is to deliver 28,835 days of social value by 2025, equivalent to the average number of days in a lifetime.
