At Elior we aim to be champions for the best standards in nutrition, helping all our customers achieve a balanced diet which provides our bodies with the right nutrients in the right amounts to help them function properly. We are committed to achieving this balance by providing the right foods and the information our customers need to make the right choices, while at the same time making our food delicious.
This requires all our colleagues to understand the important facts about nutrition. To know that different foods contain different nutrients, and no one food contains all the nutrients our bodies need. We create menus that offer the variety of foods in the right amounts to help our customers achieve a healthy balance.
We base our healthy eating solutions on principles identified by the government, follow its advice and guidance on what constitutes a healthy diet and join in with government-based voluntary best practices, for example meeting sugar reduction targets. And we comply with specific mandatory nutrition standards including School Food Standards.
Our team of dietitians are all registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are members of the British Dietetic Association.
