Elior UK has joined the Apprenticeship Roll of Honour thanks to the commitment and investment it has put in to developing the training and skills of its employees through apprenticeships.

Awarded by the National Apprenticeship Service, The Roll of Honour showcases companies who are committed to apprenticeships and recognise the business benefits they gain from employing apprentices.

Arran McDowell, HR director Elior UK, explains: “By investing in apprenticeships we are investing in the future of both Elior and our industry.

“We serve around 255,000 customer occasions across our 650 sites each day and our people are at the heart of making our business a success. We believe in giving an opportunity to talent – training them up so our customers get a first class experience, and our employees get a career in an organisation that recognises their importance to the business.”

1,383 apprentices have been taken on by Elior over the past eight years 196 are currently active in the business.
