Your key responsibilities as the Sales Development Chef will consist of:

To support the sales team by creating winning menus and concepts for new business tenders.

To plan and deliver compelling and appropriate food concept presentations that demonstrate the Elior commitment to quality and taste.

To attend sales tender meetings,

To collating winning menus and concepts to keep our offering fresh and innovative

To Develop a food strategy with our business development teams for key large bids

To support our teams with Kitchen management training during mobilisation

To be constantly bringing innovation and new ideas to the sales team for food development

To Liaise with other chefs in the business and to communicate to them through different mediums, ie by presenting and demonstrating/ translating powerful food offers to key prospects.


The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Sales Development Chef include:

Being a visionary food person - to deliver fresh ideas and impact

Being able to demonstrate knowledge and know how in an ever changing food scene

Having the ability to communicate well at all levels, displaying calm and considered thinking.

You must be "influencer" and mentor to our chef team.

You should have the ability to give objective and constructive opinions in a professional manner.

You should have the Ability to give clear direction and solve problems under pressure.

You should be confidence to deliver presentations and to speak in front of groups in an articulate manner in order to get your concepts across successfully.

Be able to demonstrate a broad knowledge with an understanding of a wide range of cuisines and food styles.

You should also have the knowledge and skills to encourage participation in internal and industry competitions including the Elior "apprentices"

You should also be able to work as part of a team.


As part of your package, we are offering a salary up to £50000.00

This role also comes with single healthcare cover, company pension scheme, life insurance (x4), 33 days holiday – pro-rata (including Bank Holidays). You can also purchase up to 5 additional days annual leave.
