We are recruiting for a proactive and hardworking Coordinator to join the City London team in our new office. You will be the first point of contact, providing advice and support to your operational colleague's whilst supporting the buying function.

As our Coordinator, you will be involved with driving the implementation of purchasing solutions, working with a friendly and supportive team. Supporting multiple departments as the smooth interface of the purchasing team.

•To be the first point of contact for Operations as and when issues are escalated to the Purchasing Department
•Assist the sites with day to day enquiries, via telephone and email
•Efficiently resolve any queries and complaints in conjunction with the team and suppliers to meet agreed service level agreements
•Ensure Excel work and written communication is completed accurately
•Ensure that supplier records are maintained for the following areas: accreditation, insurance, code of conduct, environmental policies and Elior terms and conditions and escalate to the relevant buyer with any non-compliance
•Management of contracts and files on the Purchasing network drive and filing cabinets
•Upload and manage purchasing information on the intranet
•Carry out other reasonable tasks and adhoc projects as required


•Highly proficient on Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
•Able to identify and improve systems
•A problem solver
•Meticulous attention to detail and able to apply a methodical approach to all tasks
•Comfortable working independently and able to use their initiative
•Strong team player
•Able to work within set deadlines
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Experience within a purchasing role is essential
•Knowledge of the contract catering industry would be an advantage


As part of your package, we are offering a salary up to £25,000 per annum

This role also comes with company pension scheme, life insurance (x4), 31 days holiday – pro-rata (including Bank Holidays) - Inc to 33 after 2 completed years' service. You can also purchase up to 5 additional days annual leave.
