We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team. We are looking for people that are passionate about the food industry. Ideally you will be comfortable with basic cooking skills and have worked in the catering industry, but being friendly, approachable and having excellent customer service are what we value most.

As a Catering Assistant you will be responsible for greeting and serving customers in a professional, warm, friendly and genuine manner. Also responsible for supporting the preparation and serving of a range of foods in line with client requirements and our standards, as well as cleaning, tidying and implementing our high standards of health and food safety. You may also be required to support in the kitchen.
We're renowned for our high standards of service and you'll play a key role in upholding these as one of our catering assistants. We are looking for talented, trustworthy, reliable candidates.
We can be flexible with working hours, both full time and part time positions available.

Your key responsibilities as the Kitchen Assistant/Kitchen Porter will consist of:
- Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, appropriately presented and stocked at all times
- Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
- Operate the till point as required throughout service, ensuring correct procedures are used
- Ensure all complaint handling is dealt with professionally and in line with procedures
- Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Kitchen Assistant/Kitchen Porter include:
