A Head Chef is required at this prestigious city site to deliver both public and event catering. managing a small but busy team of dedicated caters in a unique environment. As this is a seven day a week operation you would be required to work 5 out of 7 days - occasionally weekends. Responsibilities include managing finances, excellent food safety standards, developing the team, creating new and exciting menu innovations. Excellent communication and client skills are necessary.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

| 16 | Day to day operations and functions of the kitchen, maintaining a high standard of food quality, presentation and consistency |
| 17 | Handling complaints verbally and liaising with senior manager for any follow up |
| 18 | Liaising with stores, restaurant and management to ensure quality is maintained and developed |
| 19 | Ensure that menus and costings for the Refectory and events department are kept up to date and catering to customer demands |
| 20 | To take responsibility for weekly and daily rotas, and various staffing issues |
| 21 | Attend managers meetings when required |
