Azure Support Services, the concessions division of Elior UK, has ensured Rangers Football Club is top of the league both on the pitch and in the kitchen after winning the prestigious Stadia Award at the Cost Sector Catering Awards.

The awards are one the most highly prized and sought after in the spectator sports hospitality sector.  Recognising and rewarding excellence throughout contract and public sector catering, the Stadia Award saw Ibrox Stadium beat Emirates Stadium and Levy's Restaurants to secure top place.

Judges praised the team at Ibrox for their ‘innovative food ideas and investment in the site’ and applauded them for their ‘pursuit of excellence’.

“We’ve worked hard to provide the very best in stadium catering and hospitality for the past 11 years and are delighted to be recognised for what we have achieved”, says Stephen Brannigan, General Manager for Azure Support Services, Rangers Football Club. “Headed up by our Executive Chef Jav Aziz, we are constantly evolving our food offer to keep it fresh and exciting and support local, quality suppliers to minimize the Club’s carbon footprint as much as we can.

“We have also recently entered into partnership with the Club for a £2million refurbishment of the fast food kiosks to ensure supporters and fans continue to receive a service at Ibrox that is second to none.”
As well as the delivery of all match day hospitality and public catering, Azure manages all non-match day events within Ibrox Stadium and the catering services at Murray Park, the Club’s training ground.
Rangers Football Club is a key contract for Elior UK and this award recognises it as a centre for excellence within the group.
