Tim Hammond - Chief Executive

Tim has worked for Unilever, McKinsey, Whitbread and Barchester Healthcare. In his four previous Managing Director roles, (including TGI Fridays in the UK), he has proved successful by going the extra mile for customers. This in turn has meant giving colleagues the support and skills to deliver outstanding customer service. He is also a trustee of Age UK, the new charity formed from Help The Aged and Age Concern. Apart from family life, his main leisure pursuits are playing tennis and cricket, going to the theatre and cinema, and eating out with friends.

 
       

   

Tim Bowley  - Managing Director

Tim has long experience in famous High Street restaurant brands and hotels. At Yum! Restaurants International he worked in the Pizza Hut and KFC brands, and most recently at Whitbread he held  a variety of roles including Operations Director and HR Director for Premier Inn Hotels, and MD of the Beefeater chain of restaurants. He is a passionate believer in driving growth through outstanding customer service. Outside work Tim’s priority is his family, and when time allows his love of sport kicks in, particularly hacking his way around a golf course and following Leicester City.

 
       
 

Nick Boston – Chief Financial Officer

Nick joined Elior UK as CFO in March 2011. A Chartered Accountant, he brings with him a broad experience of the Services and Retail industries: most recently from Aramark UK, where he was CFO for a number of years. Before that, Nick was CFO at Comet the electrical retailer, and before Comet held a number of finance roles at Hogg Robinson, the business travel management outsourcing company. 

Nick and his wife enjoy ski-ing and cycling holidays.

 
       
 

Dawn Gallimore – National Sales Director

Dawn has long experience in the Catering and Hospitality Industry.  After gaining her HND she joined Forte Hotels, specialising in Banqueting before joining Gardner Merchant, which became Sodexo.  During her 17 years with Sodexo, she gained operational and sales experience to Director level in the B&I, Education and Soft Services Segments. 

In 1996 she joined BaxterStorey as Director of Scotland.. Her last role before joining Elior was managing the Catering and FOH Services for RBS, working with a UK and Ireland team.  She joined Elior UK in May 2010 as National Sales Director which allows her to use all her industry knowledge and experience to support business development. 

Dawn is married to Lee and has a 15 year old son, Oliver.  She lives in Sheffield with her family.

 
       
 

Arran McDowell – HR Director

Arran joined Elior UK in May 2007. He has an extensive general HR background having previously worked for the HSBC Group, General Motors and The Carphone Warehouse. As an example of ‘succession planning’ in action he moved into the role of UK HR Director in January 2011. Arran’s role with Elior gives him responsibility for Human Resources, Learning & Development and Safety & Wellbeing. Outside work family life consists of keeping his two young children entertained, the occasional round of fair weather golf and travelling.

 
       
 

Carl Morris – Marketing and External Communications Director

Carl has been in the food and hospitality business for over 25 years. He joined Elior in 2010 in the newly created role of Marketing Director for the UK. In 2011 carl took on responsibility for external communications . Carl’s primary role includes the development of marketing strategies, customer facing offers, promotional activity , consumer insight and all aspects of corporate communications . Before joining Elior, Carl’s background was originally in hotels, latterly with Sodexo and Gardner Merchant where he held a number of senior operational, sales and marketing roles across the Business, Industry and Educational segments.
 
When not working, Carl enjoys circuit training and football and has recently completed a master’s degree in International Hospitality Design and Management.
 
       
 

Catherine Roe – Managing Director - Trading

Catherine has worked in the industry for over 12 years having spent her earlier career at Sodexo.Prior to that she was at the Ladbroke Group and Hilton International. Her focus is on delivering the best for the client and customer and is renowned for her strong client relationships. She is passionate about the business and always seeking new ideas and concepts. She has been at Elior for 5 years and has brought about a lot of positive change.

With a husband and two children she manages to balance work and home life and somehow pursue her interests in the Arts and Music. She does charity work in her spare time and enjoys socialising with friends.
