Meet the leadership team

The leadership team of Elior in the UK brings together people who provide a balance of long experience in the food and related services industries, the shared belief that customer satisfaction drives success, and a wider perspective of what works best in business.

 

Catherine Roe - Chief Executive

 

Catherine has worked in the food services and hospitality industry for over 20 years. She is inspired by building a leading reputation for great service delivery, innovation and quality at Elior.

Catherine believes all good business are built on strong, sustainable relationships, a passionate team and a deep understanding of all facets of the business. She believes Elior’s special advantage is its commitment to its colleagues, empowering them to do their best work and giving them the support for long and successful careers.

 

 

 

 

 

Lenni Savva – Chief Financial Officer

 

Leni joined the business in November 2016, her career started at British Gas through their finance trainee scheme and qualified as a chartered management accountant before developing a career across a number of blue chip organisations, including most recently Tesco plc, BHS, Arcadia, and Royal Bank of Scotland.

Leni brings a passionate, forward thinking, dynamic, results orientated style to business, her remit includes managing all aspects of Finance, procurement, IT, Legal and Commercial.

Leni’s business interests go beyond just looking at the numbers and believes the financial success of a company is embedded in a strong organisational culture, underpinned with strong focus on innovation, employee passion, strong brand values and great customer service.

 

 

 

 

Robin Givens – National Sales Director

 

Robin joined Elior in 2008, bringing with him extensive UK and International business development experience gained in senior positions within the catering industry.

Initially responsible for new business in the city of London, Robin has since developed winning value propositions within the Defence and Healthcare markets. Having aligned the B&I and Defence retail operational solutions, he has been instrumental in taking retail services into new markets.

Robin was appointed National Sales Director in 2014, with the responsibility of overseeing strategic growth across all business sectors.

 

 

 

 

 

Arran McDowell – Human Resources Director

 

Arran joined Elior UK in May 2007 and he describes both Elior becoming a Sunday Times Top 25 Best Big Companies to work for (not once but twice) and his shortlisting for the Personnel Today HR Director of the Year as two of the highlights of his career to date.

He has an extensive general HR background having previously worked in the Banking sector and Motor and Communications industries. Beyond his HR role, he also has responsibility in the leadership team for Safety and Wellbeing and Education.

 

 

 

 

 

Carl Morris – Marketing and External Communications Director

 

With an established track record in the food and hospitality sector, including hotels and leading food service organisations, Carl joined Elior in 2010. The role undertaken covers all aspects of marketing: corporate responsibility, customer insight and corporate communications in the UK.  Carl is a passionate believer in understanding every aspect of what makes great customer service. He sees the development of cutting-edge food concepts and innovation as the best way for Elior to differentiate and develop a loyal customer base.

 

 

 

 

 

Mike Sunley- Chief Executive Lexington

 

Mike re-joined Elior in October 2014 having spent 12 years building a successful business, Lexington Catering, based in the heart of the City. Before setting up Lexington, Mike worked with Elior as a board Director for Avenance and High Table.

Mike believes people need to be at the heart of the business in order to deliver the very best food and service, this means creating a positive and supportive working environment where people enjoy coming to work and can achieve their potential. He is a big believer in helping support Britain's young talent and invests a lot of time to support future careers.

 

 

 

 

 

Jim Lovett – CEO Waterfall Catering Group

 

 

Jim has many years of experience in the contract catering sector, almost all of which have been in the Care and Education markets.  A former management consultant and contract catering Managing Director, Jim has helped grow Caterplus and Taylor Shaw brands part of the Waterfall Group to become the leading niche providers within the Care and Education markets respectively by concentrating on delivering the best possible food and service whilst a focus on the current and future needs of his clients and customers. Jim joined the board of Elior when Waterfall became part of the Elior group in 2016.

 

He lives in Cheshire and outside of work is a coach at his local rugby club, a school governor and a non-executive director at a local hospice.
